DLM Construction recently completed a comprehensive renovation on a historic property in The Incorporated Village of Bellport, Long Island, New York. Our next challenge was to “match the outside with the inside”—finding a Landscape Architecture firm that had the same attention to detail and ability to execute a plan that would elevate the entire property’s streetside appearance, while preserving the historic aura of the area. Brian J. Mahoney, Landscape Architect, has shown us that his firm is a company whose standards match our own. With backgrounds that include horticulture, art and architecture, their firm has developed a client specific approach to design. Brian’s strengths cover every aspect of the luxury landscape market, with special attention given to historic commissions. The latter was important; the home DLM renovated is in a neighborhood with several designated historic properties. Brian appreciated the kind of work we did on the interior and drew up a design and renderings that were a “match”. Work will begin on the project soon (weather permitting) Our DLM “family” looks forward to working with Brian on future projects.
